You 'think' there's a plan for total catastrophic failure such as a fire, but what contingency is there really? If disaster strikes in our world, production can simply be transferred to another site. It is one of our strengths that no single project will be dependent upon just one supplier. To offer genuine contingency, it is crucial to keep data and data-processing work separate from production facilities. We manage this so that you maintain ownership of all data programs and scripts so that split mailings or last minute changes to service providers can be made simply and easily.
Procurement is such an important aspect of our business that we operate with 'due diligence' at every turn. Our suppliers must be both able to supply and also carry the required financial stability to undertake work for us, and just as it is our policy that no single project will be dependent upon just one supplier, we also make sure that no single supplier is dependent upon us for stability. As a general principle, MPS business should not account for more than 20% of the suppliers' total turnover.
